It just its not the same thing as talking to people and having somebody say i loved it because, you know, i think youre going to love it because of this, and you cant get that other places. The biggest challenge to owning an independent bookstore these days is definitely competition from the internet, both from online marketplace and the whole ebook, ereader phenomena thats very pop popular, and definitely affects us. A lot of our regular customers, like i said, they love us, they support us, but then they are like, yeah, but i got this nook or ipad, and its so easy to get a back. We have lost customers that way.
