Dickson terminal: County OKs lawsuit settlement with developer Titan Chris Gadd, Nashville Tennessean © Chris Gadd/The Herald Opponents of the fuel terminal proposed for Dickson County rallied Thursday night at the county courthouse in Charlotte as the county planning commission voted on the terminal site plan inside. Dickson County reached a settlement Tuesday with Titan Partners, the company planning a large fuel terminal near Interstate 40, about four months after the company filed lawsuits to proceed with the $60 million project.  The Dickson County Commission voted 9-1 to settle the lawsuits. Commissioner Johnnie Reed voted no and Commissioner Linda Hayes abstained.  It s going to cause a lot of hard feelings,” said Commissioner Cotton Dawson. “And I hope when we vote to do the right thing, it doesn’t make people mad at you so bad it s completely out of reason.
