Highland man charged with Class X meth felony Scott Cousins, scousins@thetelegraph.com FacebookTwitterEmail EDWARDSVILLE A Highland man was charged with a methamphetamine-related Class X felony on Wednesday, one of several drug-related charges filed by the Madison County State’s Attorney’s Office. Tyler S. Basye, 36, of Highland, was charged with unlawful possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine, a Class X felony. The case was presented by the Granite City Police Department. According to court documents, on March 31 Basye allegedly was found to be in possession of between 15-100 grams of methamphetamine with the intent to deliver. Bail was set at $100,000.

It is also com­mem­o­rating the 30th anniversary of Oper­ation Desert Storm.  “The Hillsdale County Hall of Valor, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit orga­ni­zation whose purpose is recog­nition of Hillsdale County vet­erans,” said John M. Williams III, pres­ident of the Hillsdale County Hall of Veterans. The Hillsdale County Hall of Vet­erans has an annual award cer­emony that takes place in November, during which the group honors new induc­tions into the Hall of Valor, according to Williams.
