Zomi Council felicitated CM Biren in Churachandpur in appreciation of him becoming the chief minister of the state for the straight second term. The venue for his felicitation was changed three times.
During the Cabinet expansion on Saturday, six more MLAs were sworn in as Council of Ministers at the Raj Bhavan in Imphal. However, not one of them was from Churachandpur district.
