THE SPIRIT of Christmas comes in many forms and pantomime is one of the age-old staples which creates a party atmosphere and enhances the mood of bonhomie. This year it is panto online that does its bit for a nation struggling for jollity.
The Sleeping Trees have an established cult following. Famed for their appearances on the Edinburgh Fringe and their Christmas shows, they’ve been delighting audiences with manic, fast-paced physical comedy, speedy character switches, gender-bending revels and general Pythonesque silliness for 10 years.
Their current show, The Legend of Moby Dick Whittington, is more of the same and will provide a welcome seasonal rampage for those who enjoy a riot of nonsense.
