I ask Councilwoman Gumbs why she wanted to host a COVID-19 Health fair. She spoke about our community members who are not interested in being vaccinated. She shared that she had recently received her first shot and wanting to make sure that people understand the vaccine is safe.
The event will include Dr. Jayne Middlebrooks Morgan, who has appeared on WCLK s The Local Take. Additionally, historian Maurice Hobson, Psychologist Dr. John Wayne Wilson, and Dr. Angela Marshall from the Black Women s Health Imperative will present much-needed information for our community.
