To remind us, they will not be in a kwoequote, unquote, combat role. Well, lets be clear about what these 130 advisers will and will not be doing. They are focused squarely on looking at the humanitarian situation on mt. Sinjar and developing options to potentially move people and relocate people safely from the mountain. As we know, dropping food and water is not a longterm solution for the tens of thousands of people on that mountain. So these u. S. Military personnel that have just gone in are assessing the best way to bring these people to safety, whether thats some sort of airlift, whether its a humanitarian corridor. Theyre looking at the options, theyll present them to the president and hell make decisions about the best way he can help do that will be. Joining me from washington, kimberly dozier, cnn Global Affairs analyst and from hanover, new hampshire, Daniel Benjamin, former u. S. Ambassador and coordinator for counterterrorism. Welcome to you both. Good to be here. Kimberl

The big question now is can negotiators figure out a lasting Peace Agreement before this truce expires . Anderson cooper is along the israelgaza border this morning with the very latest. Anderson, what are you seeing . What are you hearing . Well, good morning, kate. Not hearing much, and thats certainly good news for people here in ashkalan. Weve not heard rockets five hours into the ceasefire, and it does appear to be holding. Its been a quiet day here thus far. What makes this ceasefire different than others, most of which were broken very quickly is israel is not having any operations that are continuing. In past ceasefire, last unilateral ceasefire that israel held, they say they would continue ongoing military operations. Right now they say they have pulled back all forces from gaza. All are on the israeli soil. They are in what they call defensive positions. Well talk to Lieutenant Colonel lerner in a most but first lets go live to john voss standing by live in gaza city. John,

Israel is suspending their fire for a seven hour humanitarian ceasefire. John, does hamas seem to be willing to support this ceasefire . If so, what can actually be physically achieved in seven hours . Reporter well, at this point, hamas says they will not go along with the ceasefire. They dont trust the israelis. They believe its an attempt to divert attention away from what happened at the school. The israelis say they were attacking three members of the jihad on a motorcycle. Apparently, they passed near the front gates of the school. Nine people died from shrapnel after it was fired. As for what can be done in the seven hour ceasefire, they need to get ai
