If the justices rule that the 15-week ban violates the state’s right to privacy, a six-week abortion ban will also be nullified. If the justices rule any other way, the six-week ban will take effect 30 days after the decision comes out.
Oral arguments are scheduled for 9:00 Friday morning in the Florida Supreme Court. The decision there could return Florida to 24 weeks or trim it down to six.
