22 57 1316 weve been around here for quite some time, and thats about the first time that we had a murder like this. shortly before three oclock this afternoon. Police were dispatched to this house at 3918 Center Street to investigate a possible shooting. 12 11 3949 somebody happened upon the scene and called the police and im sure you heard the radio traffic, that somebody had been shot and there was a lot of blood and when we arrived, what we found are two people deceased in the home. this man and this woman were seen leaving the house. Police described the two as witnesses that they needed to talk to. There were also two small children in the home. That were covered with towels and removed from the house. 10 2910 35 there were two children in the home but they are going to be fine. They are being taken up to the hospital to be check out but the didnt have any obvious injuries on them. First on 13. Were coming off another deadly weekend in des moines this morning. Police now trying to find answers behind what started as a call for help, and ended as a double homicide. It started around 7 last night. Thats when police were called to the 42hundred block of hull on a call for help. When they got there, police say they found two victims inside the home. Both had been shot. No word this morning on what led to the double shooting. Or who the victims were. The crash was so violent the car is nothing more than a pile of twisted metal. Im just in disbelief. I still believe this is a dream. I still think its a dream. I dont believe my niece is gone.
