The former Prime Minister led Britain to victory in World War 2, helping crush the fascist ideology of Germany s Adolf Hitler. During the Thirties, Sir Winston took the lead in calling for British rearmament to counter the growing threat of militarism in Nazi Germany. But he was also involved in an accident that could have changed the face of the war.
