KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (April 20, 2021) – Barberitos, a fast-casual burrito restaurant with 50 locations across the Southeast, is excited to announce the reopening of its Knoxville, Tenn. location (215 Brookview Center Way). Barberitos was forced to close after a fire on Feb. 22.

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee, April 21, 2021 – Cushman & Wakefield announced today that the commercial real estate services firm has arranged the sale of The Ridge at Hamilton Crossing, a 353-unit apartment community located in Maryville, Tennessee.
Jimmy Adams and Craig Hey of Cushman & Wakefield represented the seller who was affiliated with Tynes Development Corporation, in the transaction. StoneRiver, an investment company that has invested more than $1 billion in assets across the Southeast, acquired the property. This is StoneRiver’s first acquisition in Fund II and StoneRiver Property Management will be responsible for management.

Fireflies light up the nights in Market Square
Downtown Knoxville celebrates spring with Firefly Nights, an enchanting new light installation that adds a bit of sparkle to the trees of Market Square.
Inspired by the synchronous fireflies that attract thousands of visitors to Elkmont and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park every spring, Firefly Nights includes more than 12,000 lights that “flash” from sunset to sunrise through the end of June.
“With warm weather and longer days, Downtown Knoxville is the perfect place to find spontaneous fun for the entire family,” said Michele Hummel, executive director of the Downtown Knoxville Alliance. “People are excited to be getting safely out and about again, and we hope the creation of Firefly Nights can make being downtown even more special for them.”

Beginning at 5:00 p.m. selected craft beers will be available for purchase, the food truck will be on site, and special menu items exclusively available in the evening will be offered at the zoo’s restaurants. Wine, other beer selections, and non-alcoholic beverages are also available for purchase.
