Can expect reset sounds like a big one its going to be a big one in fact we havent seen a midwinter storm like this in the bay area in quite a while weve had a few weeks storms making its way into the bay area, but this one is pretty typical for this time of year. So lets take a look at our satellite and radar from earlier tonight, very dry conditions. But now we are noticing some more light bands of rain just off the coast going to make its way inland. But this isnt even the storm that im tracking the one that is going to pack quite a punch during the overnight hours and for your thursday morning commute is right now over eureka so its just arriving into the golden state and its going to make its way into the bay area during the overnight hours and its going to wreak havoc for your thursday morning commute so the highest rain totals expected for those of you in the north bay specifically our local hills and mountains upwards of 3 inches of rain or less for the rest of us in the bay ar
Afternoon and thursday night could even see some small hail as well and snow levels dropping 2 those 3,000 feet for north bay and east bay highest peak, so lets take a look at stormtracker 4 right now very dry conditions light scattered showers off the coast. But the big storm just to our north right now impacting those of you and your rica and its going to make its way into the bay area during the overnight hours so it is going to peak for those of you in the north bay by around sunrise, but for the San Francisco peninsula and east bay its going to impact us during the mid morning commute so we are going to notice heavy rain and gusty wind speeds and those of you in the south bay youre going to get the bulk of the storm impacts by around or noon lunch time hour but take a look at this drying trend already taking place right around noon for those of you in the north bay, so this is going to be a very quick moving storm as it makes its way out of the bay area shifting to the south and e
