PHILADELPHIA – A United Kingdom couple who own property in Bucks County have settled claims with the manufacturer and distributor of an audio speaker they purchased, one which they claim malfunctioned and caused a catastrophic fire at that same property.

PHILADELPHIA – Counsel for a Chester County woman, who claimed she was physically assaulted by an American Airlines baggage claim agent at the Philadelphia International Airport last year after inquiring about her missing bag, is seeking to remand the case to state court and add a defendant to the action.
Kathleen Makowka of Malvern first filed suit in the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas on Feb. 16 versus PrimeFlight Aviation Services, Inc., of Sugar Land, Texas.
The suit said the incident in question occurred between the hours of 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. at the American Airlines Baggage Claim Office in Terminal F, at the Philadelphia International Airport.

MEDIA - A Havertown man wants payback from AFC Urgent Care Havertown for alleged medical negligence that caused a stroke.
The complaint was filed by plaintiff Alfred Mile on April 23 in the Delaware County Court of Common Pleas. Mile is diabetic and chronically hypertensive, regularly taking three blood pressure medications, the suit says.
On May 5, 2019, Mile visited defendant Dr. Rajesh Patel at the Urgent Care center for dizziness and pain behind his ear as well as high blood pressure. He was diagnosed with an ear infection and other sinus conditions and as prescribed pseudoephedrine, a medication that increases blood pressure and is not recommended for hypertensive patients, the suit says.
