A woman who is especially proud to help provide critical support during the coronavirus pandemic has been named a Colorado State University Pueblo “Distinguished Young Alumni.”
Shanna Farmer, president and chief executive officer for United Way of Pueblo County, said her agency is helping to fill gaps for nonprofit agencies that find themselves struggling to pay rent, mortgage and utilities.
