let s talk 2020 where candidates are talking impeachment. just this morning democratic contender and former colorado governor john licken hooper added his name to this list of presidential candidates calling for impeachment after hearing from robert mueller yesterday. i think we have to begin an impeachment inquiry. i think the right thing is to hold this president accountable for his actions. the only method we can do that is for our representatives in congress to begin impeachment proceedings. it is our constitutional responsibility as members of congress to bring a judgment of impeachment against this president. msnbc national political correspondent steve kornacki joins us along with mike memory
numbers went to haitis in a hand basket. but the conservatives do have one point to make is there is no deficit cutting here, no spending cutting. it is very minor. and the democrats in the senate are unhappy over unemployment, whatever. but, look, they want to get the focus off of budget and on to obamacare. but the problem is they still have no positive message. but they don t want to look totally well, john, do they need a message or sit on their hands and let democrats through obamacare melt down. this agreement for boehner is that it is clear the decks, we will not be the center of the story any more, we won t let these yahoos close the government down, we ll let obama and the democrats commit mass suicide with obamacare. that is what he is thinking. but by 2014, by november, the republicans are going to need to be able to answer this question.
