A fire grew to three alarms overnight. Destroying a tampa business. It broke out at the big and deals supercenter on east hillsborough avenue just after 9 last night. Crews arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the single story as it was upgraded to a secondalarm because of the size of the building. The roof wasnt stable. So crews had to fight it from the outside. They also called in 2 helicopters. Nearly an hour in. The fire was upgraded once again to 3 alarms. No injuries have been reported. Fire marshals will start their investigation once its safe to go inside. Also developing this morning. A man is critically injured when two cars crashed. Causing one to hit a covered bus stop in saint pete. It happened on 4th street south. Just north of 21st avenue around 7 30 last night. The drivers of the cars were not seriously inju a step forward in the Punta Gorda Citizens Academy shooting investigation. You man remember the case from august. Victim around the oak harbour neighborhood from time to time, she was saddened to hear what happened. He was a wonderful young man. He liked plants, he liked animals, he liked flowers and when i walked the dog, we would sit and talk. Dave others in the neighborhood said they knew little about the family, but offered their condolences. It s a tragedy and i immediately prayed for that family. Dave police call it an isolated incident. No arrests have been made. Police will search the home once they have a signed search warrant. Of course, updated information a couple moments ago, she has been charged with the meditative murder. She did planned the murder of her own son. They are biologically mother and son and she is being taken to the Seminole County jail this hour. Her son was shot multiple times in the shower, and they are saying she planned his death. Between 5 to 10 Miles Per Hour, just a little too breezy for that fog to settle but if they come down below 5 Miles Per Hour that is when well have a better chance for that fog to settle at ground level. Temperatures right now are in the 50s. Inverness at 52. As we look farther around the area you can see its pretty consistent in the mid50s, winter haven at 56. Brooksville 54. Around tampa bay temperatures are also in the mid50s. So not a lot of variability in temperatures this morning. I say the same deal through the day. Well be up to the upper 60s by noon with the more sunshine starting to come through the clouds. I think well make it to low 70s today. If the clouds really linger we might be closer to about 70 degrees instead. Again were looking at low chances of rain that helps for the morning drive as well as the afternoon drive.
