LANSING, MI - Republicans have officially replaced the GOP state canvasser who certified President-elect Joe Biden’s win with a conservative activist after Gov. Gretchen Whitmer accepted one of their nominations.
Aaron Van Langevelde, who also serves as legal counsel to the state House Republicans, made waves when he pushed back against election challenges within his own party with his Nov. 23 vote to certify. This clinched Biden’s Electoral College win in Michigan.
