The Martin Luther King Center, along with campus and community partners, will host a variety of experiences to celebrate and amplify the richness of Latinx/Hispanic heritage and culture at UK and beyond. Including arts, music, food and dance, the festival celebrates Appalachian cultural diversity with a special emphasis on Latinx experiences and expressions in the region. The week will be anchored by a performance by Cornbread & Tortillas, a dynamic bilingual production that features stories, music and dancing.
As part of the College of Fine Arts, the Department of Theatre and Dance, School of Art and Visual Studies and School of Music will join the UK Art Museum in presenting a diverse selection of concerts, exhibits, theatre and dance programming this fall semester.
