Jack Catlow Tributes have been paid to photographer John ‘Jack’ Raymond Catlow, who passed away on March 19. ‘Jack’, as he was known, was the beloved husband of the late Edna and the devoted father of Sue and Debs. He was also the cherished grandad of George and the father-in-law of Andy. Jack was born in Ribchester, where he lived all his life. He attended Clitheroe Royal Grammar School, joining the Police as an apprentice photographer in 1943. In 1945 his national service took him to Egypt, where he worked as a photographer within the RAF, flying on reconnaissance trips in Mosquito planes.
