A team of researchers at the University of Saskatchewan will study the effects cannabis use during pregnancy has on the brain development of a fetus a mother is carrying.
Robert Laprairie is an assistant professor and research chair with the college of pharmacy and nutrition, he says so far most of the data available is observational in nature, the USask study will use special equipment to provide cannabis smoke to rats. He says they have purchased special equipment that can vent cannabis smoke to cages with pregnant rats, once the rat pups are born, they will track their progress as the age.
For five Cache Valley residents, discovering family ties to the original Pilgrims on the Mayflower has been an exciting process â and their research revealed they are descendants of not just one, but several of the settlers as a result of marital relationships begun on the ship.
Moreover, the five locals interviewed for this article would be interested to know they are all related to each other through genealogical ties to the 102 original passengers.
This year marks the 400th anniversary of the landing of the Mayflower near the tip of Cape Cod, Massachusetts, on Nov. 21, 1620. A group of English families known today as the Pilgrims left England on Sept. 6 that year and reached America after 10 weeks at sea with a crew of 30 men and 102 passengers â 74 male and 28 female adults and children.

idea a couple of weeks ago. let s see if we can enlist kaparte in this one. i want to see rick santorum get the nomination because i want to see a very clear debate about rick santorum s america versus president obama s america. rick santorum s america is a very conservative america. it is what the republican party says america wants. i want to see that put to a referendum. i believe these polls indicating that the president would win by 20 points are a little exaggerated at the moment. but i do believe it would be a decisive defeat for rick santorum kind of conservatism, and then we would see the republicans in washington make an adjustment, as john just described, and we would then have the possibility of the return of bob dole-style republicans who were willing at certain points to negotiate with the other partying to get things done in the congress.
