Covid19 is not the first pandemic we will ever deal with and certainly will not be the last one, but it is incredibly important that we come together as a nation and as a planet to get ahead of this, address it, ad, you know, come up with remedy for it. If we think about the basis of Global Health security, it is a threepronged approach containment, mitigation, and then treatment. This is the third hearing that i am chairing on this subject. The first focused on the containment strategy. That was the first hearing that congress held.
