Stone House museum, Nature Center at Salt Fork reopen for 2021 The Daily Jeffersonian Two popular tourist destinations on the grounds of Salt Fork State Park in Guernsey County have reopened after the coronavirus pandemic forced their closure more than a year ago. The Kennedy Stone House museum is open for guided tours, said Dave Thompson, assistant manager at Salt Fork. And, the Nature Center and in-person activities with the naturalist are once again open. Thompson said Stone House tours will continue from 1 to 5 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays during the summer season. Visitors will enjoy touring the restored 1840s Federal-style home with its summer kitchen, spring house and surrounding grounds. Docents will be on hand to share information about the history of the Stone House and Salt Fork Lake.
