Customer slips at Houston McDonalds, sues

HOUSTON A Houston area McDonalds is facing a suit after a customer fell on slippery, wet floor and suffered injuries.  Lovelance Sagay filed a complaint May 11 in Harris County District Court against H.K. Smith Management Inc., doing business as McDonalds and McDonalds alleging premises liability.  According to the suit, the plaintiff was at the McDonalds on West Sam Houston Parkway in Houston on May 16, 2019, and slipped and fell on a slippery substance that was on the floor of the restaurant. The plaintiff alleges that there were no warning signs posted about the dangerous condition and that the fall resulted in serious and permanent injuries.
