It may have been the longest couple of seconds in Kelly Abesdris’s life.
It was when the Calgary-based singer-songwriter, who performs under the name K BESD, was awaiting a clear response after sending her reworked version of Goddo’s 1978 power ballad Tough Times to the man himself, Greg Godovitz.
