In late February, Indiana House Bill 1367 advanced to the Senate despite bipartisan opposition, paving the way for students living in St. Joseph County’s Greene Township to leave the South Bend Community School Corp., which is racially diverse, and join the smaller, rural John Glenn School Corporation, a primarily white district.
