republicans were a lot more excited about getting out to vote. and that s where you really saw abortion make a big, big difference. it really maid dede democrats s to tell to say i m really motivated to get out to vote. the numbers show. that the question is going to be, are democrats sustaining that enthusiasm, that level of enthusiasm as they head into the polls? it doesn t necessarily mean they re single issue vote aernz pol voters and the polling doesn t show that. what are you looking at as you re watching the race, the senate race in pennsylvania between oz an john feterman? right now at issue is the fact that fedderman, yes, he had a stroke. he s been talking about how he used closed captioning. he clearly has some communication issues, not for comprehension but maybe more or maybe for verbal comprehension but not total
or .4% is much hotter than expected. and the government is saying the shelter, food, and medical care are the reasons why these this inflation rate went up. when you strip out food and energy and you look at the month over month increase, the core rate, it was still hot at .6%. so from last month to this month up .6 p% in prices:this is why e fed is so aggressive in interest rates. we know that officials will worry that he have been raising interest rates and the numbers are still too high. it shows the fed has more work to do, john? and that core inflation rate high. very high. you just hit on the most important question in terms of the fed racing interest rates. there are some people saying, okay, it s too much already. you re raising rates to high. you re going to force the economy into a recession. they re racing the rates and inflation is still high at this point. yeah. t they were criticized for acting too late and now acting too
the walker stories. i think we can safely move nevada as the best republican pickup opportunity. the state that i m most worried about, there are not that many vulnerable places. but it would be pennsylvania. that s democrats best pickup opportunity where senator pat timy is retiring. republicans nominated oz. he has really struggled to get the party behind him, struggled to win over independent voters. he trails john feterman in the polls. the polls are closing over the past month or two. still democrats big pickup opportunity. beyond that, you re talking about wisconsin, johnson seems to be slightly leaning his democratic opponent, barnes, and then some seats a little safer, defending north carolina which is an open seat and in ohio, another open seat where vance is struggling to get the party behind him. final question. let s do more on ohio. there is a lot of attention being paid to this race the democrats said if any democrat
was somehow fraudulent or somehow stolen. now that number is much, much lower in independents and the real question so far, republicans did not pay any price for voters for perpetuating this misinformation. so maybe you will win a primary but will you pay a price running stayed wide and need to win independent voters? we don t know the answer yet but that seems to be the area you might find republicans say this isn t politically expedient for me anymore and backing off of it. but again, i m not sure that will happen. it s also an important reminder former president trump has not lost any support from he s voters but he didn t have enough to win. ashley, thank you. speaking of democratic leaders, i want to bring in pennsylvania s democratic lieutenant governor john feterman. john, what is your take on this? now you have trump saying he wants a full forensic audit of the pennsylvania presidential election results.
