A Muncie resident who fatally stabbed an acquaintance nearly three years ago was found guilty of murder on Friday. A Delaware Circuit Court 4 jury deliberated for about two hours before returning a guilty verdict in the case of Brady Allen Turner, 27. Testimony during the week-long trial indicated Turner fatally stabbed Chris Eugene Burgess Jr., 27, also of Muncie, as they fought on East 15th Street on Sept. 17, 2018. Turner  who testified Thursday that Burgess during earlier confrontations had threatened him and at one point fired a gun at him  was not in the courtroom Friday when Judge John Feick ran the guilty verdict.
