(John Carl D Annibale / Times Union)John Carl D Annibale SCHENECTADY  School officials are asking parents and guardians of children in the district to sign consent forms ahead of possible in-school testing for coronavirus. School officials caution there is no official word on whether COVID-19 cases in Schenectady County are high enough to require school testing under state mandate but they said they want to be prepared if expanded testing becomes necessary to comply with state rules in order to keep in-person classes active. The district hopes to resume in-person classes for some students.
