About 50 people celebrated the re-opening of Orrisdale Chapel in Michael, which has been closed for three years.
Restoration work has been completed by the descendants of John Cannell, an Orrisdale farmer, who donated the land for the chapel in 1842. I
It is now a non- denominational Christian organisation.
The Christian celebration was by candle light with Gordon Clague acting as chairman and Pauline Brew at the organ.
As part of the service, the congregation enjoyed readings, poetry and songs by Manx performers.
