The fence lining a block of flats in Upper Hutt has been destroyed in an alleged boy racer incident early this morning 1 May 2021
Johanne Greally, whose family owns the block of Islington (izz) Street flats, says the driver didn t stop after a crash.
She says they are thought to have been doing wheelies in the neighbouring Trentham Masonic Centre carpark about 2 o clock.
Car parts are among the debris left behind with the fallen fence.
Police and the Masonic Centre have been contacted for comment.

A fence is now destined for the wood box after an alleged boy racer incident ended with a vehicle leaving a path of destruction - and bits of itself - in suburban Upper Hutt early this morning.
Wallaceville woman Johanne Greally s family own the block of Islington St, Trentham, flats where the fence - which separates the flats from the neighbouring Trentham Masonic Centre and carpark - was destroyed.
