Oatly to create 200 jobs at first UK factory Up to 200 jobs are to be created at a new plant-based drinks factory, the first for Swedish oat drink company Oatly.
Set to launch in the first quarter of 2023, the new production site will form part of a new end-to-end integrated supply chain in the UK. It is being supported by investment expert Integrated food Projects.
The factory will be able to produce 300m litres of oat drink per year at launch, with the capacity to grow to 450m litres. This would make it one of the largest plant-based dairy factories in the world, according to Oatly.
