Hong Kong broadcasting station TVB reportedly made a loss of HK$293mil (RM154mil) in the first half of the year. And due to that, the company will not be giving year-end bonus to all employees, including its stars.
In an open letter to staff on Dec 22, the chief executive of TVB also indicated there won t be pay increase. The chief executive also asked its employees to “join forces to allow the company to tide through this unique year”.
