Two people were trapped in the back of the vehicle and both sides were crushed in and there was no way to get out. The hyundai was traveling south on the out lanes of roosevelt boulevard and ran the red light at front street and a Ford Explorer struck the hyundai that slammed into the traffic light. 19yearold died at the hospital and the 17yearold at the scene. Where she was sitting was where the vehicle struck the light pole. The suv came up the embankment and rolled to a stop. No word in charges will be filed. They hit me, they hit me. I said calm down. Both drivers were injured and taken to the hospital in stable condition. Investigators are speaking to the drivers to see if they can find out more about what happened.
