Local officials held a ceremony at the Grayslake post office on Monday after the facility was renamed in honor of a Lake County native and Army soldier killed in Afghanistan.
Grayslake s post office was renamed in honor of Army Ranger Joseph "Joey" W. Dimock II at a ceremony Monday morning, coinciding with the 13th year of his death.
The U.S. House has passed Congressman Brad Schneider's legislation to rename the Grayslake post office in honor of a Lake County native and U.S. Army soldier who was killed in Afghanistan.
