Based on the Robert Ludlum novels, the Bourne trilogy told the tale of trained government assassin Jason Bourne. Beginning with The Bourne Identity, which cast Matt Damon as an action hero, we meet Bourne being fished out of the sea with bullets in his back and no memory. From then on it’s a three film quest to find out exactly who he is, whilst trying to evade the sniper scope of a litany of rival hitmen sent by agency officials to cover their mistakes and corrupt government officials with dark secrets to hide.

Our guiding principle is the foregrounding of individual African voices and perspectives Dr Christine Checinska, Curator of African and African Diaspora Fashion Opening June 2022, the exhibition will celebrate the vitality and innovation of this vibrant scene, as dynamic and varied as the African continent itself. Over 250 objects, drawn from the personal archives of a selectionof iconic mid-twentieth century and influential contemporary African fashion creatives, alongside textiles and photographs from the V&A’s collection will go on display –many for the first time.

V&A museum announces its next blockbuster exhibition: ‘Africa Fashion’ and issues public call-out for items Natasha Preskey © Provided by The Independent London s Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum has announced that its next major exhibition will showcase contemporary African fashion. The exhibition, Africa Fashion, which is due to open in June 2022, will celebrate the global impact of fashion from the continent, displaying over 250 objects from the personal archives of mid-20th century and contemporary fashion creatives, including designers, stylists and photographers. It will mark the first time that the work of 20th century designers Shade Thomas-Fahm, from Nigeria, Chris Seydou, from Mali, and Kofi Ansah, from Ghana, and contemporary Nigerian designer Alphadi has been displayed in a London museum.
