COVID-19 vaccines can t alter your DNA. They can t give you the disease, either.
Myths like those are posing challenges in the effort to get people vaccinated, according to health experts. Organizations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to the Maryland Department of Health to Meritus Health have posted FAQs and mythbusting information, trying to answer concerns.
“It’s important that we point people to the science behind the vaccines, because there are numerous myths out on social media that are just not based in facts, Joelle Butler, spokeswoman for Meritus Health, wrote in an email Thursday.
