It was not the way the Lincoln Blue Tigers wanted their Homecoming game to go Saturday, as the Central Oklahoma Bronchos ran away with a 45-3 victory in MIAA action at Dwight T. Reed Stadium.
The Blue Tigers had started fast in their previous two home games, scoring touchdowns on their first drive in both, but that was not the case against the Bronchos.
Lincoln football coach Jermaine Gales closed out his first recruiting class as coach of the Blue Tigers on Wednesday. The Blue Tigers were able to get 29 recruits signed on National Signing Day to help Lincoln’s rebuilding efforts.
