It involves a well-known scientist – some say Bertrand Russell - being confronted by an old lady who insisted the world is really a flat plate sitting on the back of a giant turtle. “What is the turtle standing on?” the scientist cunningly enquired. “You re very clever young man, very clever,” said the old lady, “but it s turtles all the way down!”

L.A.B frontman Joel Shadbolt says the chart topping band has reached back to the 1970s for inspiration for its fourth long player.

Shadbolt says it suited the band s collaborative approach to song writing and production. This album definitely has that nice mellow feel. Every time I listen to it is groove oriented, which is a massive staple in our music. We love the funk and obviously the roots reggae stuff and we ve just delved deeper into those styles and deeper into that style of songwriting, he says.
