Authorities have issued an urgent warning for millions of Australians as damaging winds of up to 100km/h continue to cause widespread havoc along the east coast.
The two systems that have sat over the New South Wales, Victorian and South Australian border and northern NSW are expected to collide into a hybrid cyclone on Tuesday.
Residents in New South Wales and Victoria have been warned to prepare for two more major weather events this weekend with SES on standby for possible tornados.
