(Wednesday, May 5; Sioux Center, Iowa) The American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) has announced its NAIA All-American teams for the 2020-21 football season and Dordt had two athletes on the list.
Noah Clayberg (Junior; Pella, Iowa) was named to the first-team after leading the nation in total rushing with 1,209 yards and he was third in the nation with 3,098 total offensive yards. Clayberg averaged 7.4 yards per carry and scored 17 touchdowns on the ground. He completed 157-247 passes for 1,889 yards and 16 passing touchdowns. All-GPAC Football Honors For Defenders Posted Wednesday, December 23, 2020
(Wednesday, December 23; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced its postseason honors for the 2020 football season and five Defenders earned first-team honors and a total of 12 Defenders at 14 positions earned honors in the voting done by the conference coaches.
“It’s great to see our players recognized by the other coaches in the conference. This is our largest class of first team all GPAC players yet. Each player, honorable mention to first team, has a story of what got them to a place of recognition. Hard work, dedication to be their best, commitment to their teammates, and a foundation of faith are all common characteristics for each of these guys,” said Dordt football
