Tom Officer and his son, Andy Officer, own White Dog Woodworking at 59 Field St. in Torrington. The 20-year-old company moved into a warehouse space formerly occupied by a wind energy company several years ago, and have since expanded their operations to include state-of-the-art, digital equipment to create the wood pieces they use in numerous commercial and residential building projects in Connecticut, New York and Massachusetts.Emily M.
