WOOSTER A message intended for Wayne County residents scheduled to be vaccinated on Thursday was mistakenly sent to everyone registered for the vaccine. There was a system malfunction that sent the message to everyone in the registration list for COVID-19 vaccination, the Wayne County Emergency Management Agency Director Joe Villegas said in an email release.
The message was intended only for those scheduled to receive the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Thursday morning.
The Wayne County EMA said even though these people are not yet scheduled, they have not been removed from the list. If an individual has registered for the vaccine through the Wayne County Health Department, the department will call to schedule an appointment at a later date.
