People honking their horns, flashing their lights, taking pictures, and lot of celebrating going on after weight for 12 years from the beginning of construction to the end of it tonight the bay bridge is open and the bay area celebrates. Gooevending, everybody. You know, its been a long long time. Last five days seemed like five months for a lot of people. The wait, though, is finally over. The bridge opened up about 45 minute ago. A new iconic landmark for the bay area. This was the first view from chopper 5 as the first cars drove westbound across the bridge just before 10 20 this evening. Judging from the traffic we saw tonight, people could not wait to drive across. This was the scene on grand avenue in oakland. Good evening, im allen martin. The ntsb says the pilots were not tested for drugs or alcohol. Two fright attendants were thrown from the plane, and there are questions tonight about whether something went wrong with a piece of equipment that the crew was counting on. The crew told investigators they set the planes auto throttles to 137 knots then assumed they would maintain the correct speed. We have a flying pilot, and we have two other pilots that are in the cockpit and they have a monitoring function. One of the very critical things that needs to be monitored on an approach to landing is speed. Three pilots were in the cockpit at the time of the crash. The flying pilot, the one that was training, was sitting in the lefthand seat. His supervisor was in the righthand seat. This was the first time that he and the f

See, the dad told Police Someone kidnapped his daughter at international boulevard and 79th avenue in oakland, but tonight Christin Ayers shows us police have scoured two other locations. And one of them is the one where i am right now 12 hours after little df daphne disappear ed. You can see cops all surround the home where she and her father live. Authorities are not just asking questions. We also found them searching trash cans for evidence. Police and fbi ajents swarm oakland with search dogs and helicopters, combing the home where 21 month old Daphne Viola Webb lived with her father asking neighbors if they had seen the man and his little girl recently.
