It’s been a long cold week for New York City pooch Meeko.
Meeko went missing around midnight on Christmas Eve from the Martin Street area in Dunkirk. He spent seven cold snowy nights on the run until a tip came through Tuesday reuniting him with his family.
Brenda Ferrando, a former Dunkirk resident, was up from New York City and brought along her two lap dogs, Milo and Meeko. Unfortunately while being watched by Ferrando’s daughter on South Martin Street, Meeko got out, leaving Ferrando devastated.
