down the electors or dispute any of the electors during the electoral college count on january 6th. so i assume his answer is yes, but i did not ask that directly. and not even on that interview, i was just wondering more broadly. shaq brewster, thank you for bringing us the interview. dasha burns, thank you, as well. we have been talking about this. control of senate. really important, right? for stuff that you care about. for issues that are important to you. right? whatever side of the aisle you re on. this matters this. stuff matters. and it matters especially in a couple of states. because those are the states that will determine the balance of power. we ve seen that, right? georgia. arizona. pennsylvania. what about colorado though, right? can you imagine maybe a year ago, two years ago, to be talking about this unexpected battleground. president biden won it by double digits in 2020. we have incumbent democrat michael bennet up against republican challenger joe o dea and ben
the super pac is putting in more than a million and former president trump says o dea, saying he is a rhino, a republican in name only and maga didn t vote for stupid people with big mouths, i m quoting now. mr. o dea, thank you for being on the show this afternoon. thanks for having me on. appreciate it. listen, you heard me quote former president trump, i want to get to that in a second but let me start with where we are right now, six days out to election day, early voting is already happening, your opponent appearing to be outside the margin of error, do you think that you have enough time to convince people to vote for you? these polls are tightening. the michael bennet 98% voting record with biden and talk about inflation and the talk about the price of gas and talk about the price of groceries and record crime in colorado, we lost 1900 coloradoans to fentanyl overdose and they drove this country into
missouri. we have in arizona blake masters. we have adam laxalt. then the other races that we re paying attention to like tiffany smiley in washington, joe o dea in the state of colorado. which ones if you had to pick day 11 days outside the election, which states would you predict go red on election day? i think you end up with oz, walker and i believe that masters gets over the hump. i think smiley is in a dogfight and possible. i would give an edge now to bolduc winning. i don t think o dea gets close enough. sean: j.d. vance, you don t worry about him or ron johnson in wisconsin. right. sean: matt, your take. the incumbents, they re all safe. let s talk about some of these other races.
missouri. we have aboun t in arizona, blae masters. we have adam laxalt. then you ve got these other races we re beginning to paylike a little bit of attention to, likefany tiffany smiley in the state of washington, joe day in the state of colorado.wagton, joe o dea in the let s go through those states , robert .colo we ll give you the first crackra wh ones, if you had to pick today, 11 days outside the election, whichic states would you predict go redu on election? i definitely think you end up with ause walker, and i believe that masters gets over the hump. i think smiley s in a dogfight and quite possible. i would actually give an edgd gw now to both winning and i don t think i would get gets close sej enough. and obviously, jd vance, nceu don t worry about him. you don t worry about ron johnson in wisconsin. right? right. matt , your take. okay, well, and the commentsm we just talked about there are all safe . the let s talkse about some of thes.
i ll say this, joel o day has put up a lot of space between he and trump trump. he has said he s bashed joe o dea in a sense, because colorado is tighter than is usually is or tighter than it s been in recent years. that s number one. number two, if you look at who joe has campaigned with, george w. bush a couple weeks ago in dallas. he s not close to donald trump. he s not emblematic of donald trump at least politically and publicly. this is a tried and true tactic. joe biden is 38% approval rating. donald trump is much lower than that in many states across the country. both candidates are trying to untie their candidates to unpopular leaders. this is a race that a lot of republicans are excited about. a lot of republicans in washington are excited about.
