Colorado State University Pueblo has announced that it will host an in-person commencement ceremony this May. We are hopeful as we plan for an in-person commencement ceremony, especially because we worked so hard to bring this tradition back to our campus in 2019,” said Timothy Mottet, president of CSU Pueblo, in a news release. “Our Commencement team is keeping safety as a priority in the planning, by including our local public health experts in the conversation. We also remain flexible with a virtual component to be inclusive and safe for all those celebrating our CSU Pueblo graduates.”
CSU Pueblo s commencement ceremony will be hosted at the Neta and Eddie DeRose ThunderBowl or at Massari Arena if the weather is bad.
Pueblo Community College part-time instructor Kathy Reinhardt lost her home on Feb. 6 after it caught fire.
The cause of the fire was reportedly from a faulty electrical unit in Reinhardt s home. She was able to escape her home with her dog and cat and the clothes she was wearing. Two of her other pets did not make it out alive, even when she attempted to rescue them from her home.
Reinhardt also lost her car to the fire. I had a heater and it just blew up on me. It (fire) caught so fast I couldn t even get my dog, said Kathy Reinhardt. I got outside and I was trying to get to her (dog) from inside and this young couple came around the corner, the young man got a hold of me and stopped me.
