Instagram already claims to have more than 50 tools aimed at keeping teens safe on its platform. But so far, the problem of children being exposed to harmful content has not been resolved. An Ofcom Study earlier this year found that every single child it spoke to had seen violent material online. Instagram was one of the platforms they mentioned the most.
