Police launch appeal for information following car theft A CAR was stolen by callous thieves from a street in the West End.  Cops are looking for information after the theft of a blue Ford Fiesta which was taken from Squire Street at the junction with Curle Street in Whiteinch between Monday evening and Tuesday morning. Anyone who may have been in the area and witnessed any suspicious behaviour is urged to come forward.  The car has unique sparkling alloys which may stand out. Constable Joe Gear, from Helen Street Police Station, said: “Anyone with information on the theft of this unique car should be reported to 101, quoting incident 0591 of 20 April. Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, if you wish to remain anonymous.”
