Obituary: Gennaro Catino, 69, Of Stamford

Born on December 4th, 1951, in Luogosano, in the province of Avellino, Italy, the son of the late Antonio and Amelia Catino. He came to this country in 1973 for a better life. Gennaro served honorably in the Italian Army. He was employed by Pitney Bowes, and most recently as a security guard at the Stamford Government Center. Gennaro worked as a mechanic for Pitney Bowes for 33 years. Subscribe He was an avid outdoorsman with hobbies such as; hunting, fishing, clamming, and tending to his homegrown garden. In addition he enjoyed making his own wine, grappa, salame, tomato sauce, and of course his famous pizza.Gennaro was also a huge soccer fan that enjoyed watching AC Milan, Napoli, and the Italian National Team play.
