A second round of COVID-19 testing will be completed on “high risk” staff and students at the Ontario Police College before a decision is made about reopening the school, the region’s top public health official says.
The tally of confirmed cases at the Aylmer-area school rose to 65 Monday, up from 27 Friday, as officials try to contain one of the largest virus outbreaks at a Southwestern Ontario institution.

Newly proposed legislation would give municipalities the power to ban handguns, but city officials in London say more time is needed to review the details.
The Liberal government tabled legislation Tuesday that would allow local governments to ban handguns through bylaws restricting their possession, storage and transportation.
